How do I know you're licensed?

Each crew works under the state license for its trade. The class, board and lookup link are in the footer of every page, and you can ask the dispatcher for the numbers.

A pipe has burst. What do I do first?

Shut off the main water valve, switch off the water heater, and open a faucet at the lowest point to drain the lines. Then call us.

Where is my main water shutoff?

Often where the line enters the house: a basement wall in older homes, a utility closet or the garage in newer ones. A crew member can show you on the visit.

What does a visit cost?

The dispatcher tells you the visit fee and what it covers when you book. The repair itself is quoted in writing before work starts.

Do nights and weekends cost more?

We book visits during dispatch hours, and weekend or evening visits are by appointment. Those can cost more, and the dispatcher says so before you book.

How long will it take?

A repair visit is usually scheduled as a window. Replacements and new work are scheduled when the estimate is approved.

Do you pull permits?

When the work needs a permit, we handle it. The estimate says whether yours does.

Should I repair or replace my water heater?

We give you both prices in writing. Age, leaks at the tank and the cost of the repair usually decide it.

Could my house have lead pipes?

Houses built before 1986 may have lead solder or lead service lines. The EPA has guidance, and we can tell you what we see on a visit.

Do you work outside Lexington?

Yes, in the counties on the service area list. We don't go to Louisville, Northern Kentucky or the eastern mountains.

Still have a question?

Call or text. A person reads every message during office hours.
